Stanley Aughtry, Jr. is an American actor and entrepreneur. Mr. Aughtry has successfully maintained careers as an engineer, entrepreneur, and actor simultaneously for the past 10 years, hence, earning him the title, "actorpreneur".

Stanley Aughtry, Jr. was born in Washington, D.C. to Brenda Barnes Battle and Stanley Aughtry, Sr. He spent his formative years in Goldsboro, North Carolina where he excelled as a scholar-athlete, and musician. In 1997, he attended Hampton University on a full tuition athletic scholarship where he served as captain of the football team. In 2002, Mr. Aughtry earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation he began his career as an engineer and shortly after, obtained a Master of Business Administration degree. His acting career began to thrive in 2007 when he landed his first big screen appearance in The Dark Knight (2008).

Following the success of the Dark Knight, the "actorpreneur" was featured in the films, Step Sisters (2010), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), and Jack Reacher (2012). In 2014, Mr. Aughtry became a franchisee for a national cleaning services company. That same year, he expanded his acting horizons to include television series by contributing to the productions of The Revolution Will Be Televised (2014), Being Mary Jane (2015), and Survivors Remorse (2015 and 2016). In late 2016, Mr. Aughtry returned to the big screen in Boo! A Madea Halloween, followed by All Eyez on Me in 2017. In 2017, he also landed his biggest role to date as "Shombay, Merchant Tribe Warrior" in the blockbuster film, The Black Panther. The film, which was released in February 2018, earned over 200 million its opening weekend and continues to break records worldwide.

Today, Mr. Aughtry continues to excel in all 3 careers--engineering, business, and entertainment--thus, solidifying him as the premier "actorpreneur" in the industry.
